Many people have already driven to Urra all the way from England. With two drivers the journey can be made in 48 hours. Euro-Rute 15, running down the Eastern coast of Spain, comes within 12Km of us.
The exit for Sorbas is clearly signed. From this point the N340 runs straight to Sorbas. At Km post 498, just to the East of the town, take the turning signed for Nijar and Carboneras. The driveway for Urra is 1.4Km along on the left.

...BY PLANE
There are regular charter flights to Almería airport (approximately 45 minutes away), to Alicante less than two and a half hours, to Murcia (about two hours) and to Málaga (less than three hours).

ALMERIA
- Take the motorway towards Murcia.
- The turn-off for Sorbas is clearly marked at km 504 (next after Venta del Pobre).
- Follow the country road towards Sorbas for approx 9Km.
- Urra is on the right at Km post 1.4

Go via Granada until the new
coast road is completed

ALICANTE OR MURICA
- Take the motorway towards Almería.
- The turnoff for Sorbas (Km 514) is clearly marked.
- Follow the country road towards Sorbas for approx 13Km until Km post 498
- Here there is a major junction to the left signposted for Nijar and Carboneras.
- Urra is at sign post 1.4Km on the left.

GRANADA
- Take the motorway eastward, through Guadix towards Almería until the major junction for Tabernas.
- Turn left onto the N340ª and continue until 1Km past Sorbas.
- Then take a right turning for Nijar and Carboneras.
- Urra is on the left after 1.4Km.

30km. from the city) or GRANADA
They are all
about 2¼ hours drive
away. Málaga, until the
newroad is finished, can take
up to ½ an hour longer.
